Not sure where Lovullo's choices have been since just before Allstar break, but something has to give, and something has to change if he truly wants his team in there! WAKE UP D'Backs management and office! !!! It's so dang close, and everyone has now caught up in the wild card run! Fans are remaining Frustrated!

Matt DanloeTime for a fresh start. I'm gonna pretend that I just woke up after a five month coma. The Dbacks are 67-57 and firmly in the wild card race. Awesome! Now show me you want it, Snakes...

Jenny Marsh HunterEnough with Descalso already. He has more errors, a lower batting average and fewer RBI's. Where will he be in a few years, probably retired! Where will Drury be? On another team making an impact.. SMH

Avatar

Tim StallcupSwitch Marte and Peralta. Drury at second. Comes a point when you can't say "there's always time," or "it's a long season." Dbacks either right the ship or wait for next year. Can Walker rebound? He better cuz Ray may have an adjustment period and, second or third time thru, league may be figuring out Godley. Or he could be running on fumes.

Avatar

Thomas ComerI live in NY now: The Mets announcers said "The Diamondbacks in their....shall we say....interesting road uniforms tonight." You can say it, guys. They're HIDEOUS. Go Dacks, though.

Avatar

Frank AlbaneseTorrey keeps putting out the same lineup, even though it doesn't work! Marte should be given a shot at leading off, with Peralta, Goldy, Lamb, and Martinez after that! Goldy needs to bat in the first inning, instead of leading off the 2nd (which he does most games).

4 hours ago   ·  1
Avatar

Luis CorzoWe need to change this lineup! I was all for Goldy hitting 4th but ever since he has been hitting clean up we have a losing record. We were leading the league in a lot of offensive categories earlier in the year now our offense can barely score runs.

Avatar

Ann HernandezI am really sad to see that we are going down hill everyday! I will keep watching the games but I get so angry when we are behind 3 or 4 runs in the top of the 1st, and into the 3rd inning the same pitcher is still in and the bases are loaded! What is going on in the dugout?

So glad to see BDru get some playing time... and what do you know - not only did his defense not "ruin" us as some like to say, but he gets a HR and two doubles. Maybe with some of the pressure off from only getting one at bat during a clutch situation helps him. Of course Drury's not the best player out there but it's amazing what some consistent at-bats can do for you. Now let's go beat up on the Mets. Go Dbacks!!

Jake McCannthe last time we made the playoffs was 2011 but we've been rebuilding since the 07 season after we lost the NLCS to world series runner up Rockies. during this season we got off to our best start in franchise history before we blew it. fun fact the D-Backs have never made the playoffs without winning the division. if we make the wild card that will be the first time in franchise history and if we lose to the Rockies it won't matter. i think people are allowed to be frustrated and feel negative at this point. we deserve it. just because we're frustrated and venting doesn't mean we aren't loyal. i think we need to just win whatever else we can get this year and regardless of how far we go in October or if we make it to October at all we need to really absorb everything that happened this year and by everything i mean the good start and the bad finish and on day one of the off season we do a major overhaul starting from the top all the way down to the bottom. i'm sorry but i'm not buying right now. i rest my case.

Barrie BlumYou can tell the fate of a team in several ways. You can quantify it statistically, W-L, BA, ERA's, etc., and these are decent indicators, but there is another & in my opinion, more reliable measure....VIBE. Teams give off a vibe/aura/feeling...a winning vibe, a down trend vibe, a losing vibe, etc. I have been following sports for over 50 years & I can sense a change in vibe for the Diamondbacks & not for the good. Back several months ago I had the feeling they could compete, if not win every game. Then things changed after the first series in L.A. when reality hit. Since then they've been unraveling & now the vibe is negative, almost like they're in a downward free-fall. Good news, there's plenty of time left to turn it around. We'll see!!

Roy TapiaWonder what the MLB record is for most unanswered runs? Game 1 of the series, Dbacks lead 3-0. Twins scored the next 25 runs (10-3, 5-0, 10-0) Also the Brewers with a win will be 2 back. Brewers play the Dodgers for 3 after next series. Because baseball is stupid and maybe out of spite, Dodgers (haven't lost a series in almost 3 months) will probably lose 2 of 3 to the Brewers

Christel Van HoutenOk here it comes, this team was great before AJ came back, I thought Blanco did a great job as CF, ever since then the team is going downhill, and Martinez was supposed to save the team. I have been a Dbacks fan since day 1. This is terrible, but that's how I feel 😨⚾️

Kristopher CarmanIts hard to have faith here. . Dbacks management didnt do enough to make a playoff run. Huge downtrend, it will be a battle to make wildcard. But without pitching does it really even matter? Goodluck Dodgers.

Keith RosenblumTeam has lost their fight. If management and the manager Lovullo want to make all nice with the guys it's not going to help. Lovullo has lost the clubhouse. Watch when the camera is on pitchers as he pulls them and players rolling their eyes during conversations in the dugout. Not happening this year

Eric ErmischWhy on Earth would we ever let McFarland start a game? This is a guaranteed loss and a sweep by an inferior team. Wow, this team has completely given up on the season.

Juan Cerda-OfoghDrury at 2B is a good thing. It's going to be an interesting game with McFarland starting today. Why Interesting you say? I may be mistaken but in all of Colon's 20 years in MLB, he has never beaten the Dbacks. The only team he has never beaten of all the MLB teams. So he may be more motivated to get the win today. Of course, the Dbacks may be more motivated to avoid the sweep. Let's see how this plays out. Go Dbacks!!!

They have at least kept our interest this far instead of losing it in April. Can anyone say San Francisco?

Jim PolitanoWe made the trip up to Minnasota for the first two games to cheer on our D-Backs. Great ballpark in Target Field. Great fans that respected and welcomed us even though we were wearing D-Back shirts. We also saw a D-Back team that just seemed to give up and not care. So disappointed.

Heidi SprainMcFarland is pitching today since they sent down Banda to Reno after his last lost. So it's a bullpen game. McFarland stepped in and did a great job after Robbie got hurt and held the Cardinals to one run. Offense didn't show up at that game, so hopefully it'll show up today.

Mason KegleyTwins are not necessarily an inferior team per say. I am at the game now and they are playing great ball! However, I was born in AZ and I am a huge fan of the Dbacks as well. This series has been bitter sweet to say the least. Both teams are in the wildcard spot too btw... Coming from a twins fan (55% twins to 45% dbacks), Dont give up on the dbacks! Anyway, signing off from target field... Yay baseball!

Kyle Bergelgreat call with McFarland!!!! gonna get swept by the TWINS, and lose to a 44 year old. Whats the most disappointing part is i believed. I got tricked and actually thought this team was special, and playoff bound. But once again, its a mirage. For some reason this team can never get through the tough patches, its like they just throw in the towel. All it does is just snowball and get worse and worse. 4 coming up with the mets, (ill be at thursdays game! row 1!) if they don't take AT LEAST 3 out of 4, its will be time for football lol *just a note.. While AJ was on the DL AZ went 30-13, since he returned July 4th - 15-25. Not saying he's a problem but more like if it aint broke don't fix it.

Heidi SprainThis will hopefully be the last bullpen game of the year! No more injuries hopefully and no more kids on the way I think. Robbie has been a big loss because 2 losses were from Banda so our record would be different possibly. Him coming back will get our starting rotation back to normal. The one pitcher I'm worried about is Taijuan Walker. He's had 4 losses and 5 no decisions and hasn't won since June 21st. He needs to pitch better and the offense needs to score some runs behind him. Not all of his losses and no decisions are his fault, but he needs a win as a confidence booster. If he can get back in it it'll be better for the whole rotation and the team.

Manny FloresThis team is too soft. Someone needs to get mad. No one seems to be fired up that they are on this losing streak and are playing terrible. Only emotion I've seen this year was from Archie Bradley when we played the Dodgers. And why isn't Marte at the top of the order? Been one of the most consistent hitters the last month yet he's at the bottom of the lineup.

Juan Cerda-OfoghWelp, when you have one more hit than than the error you made, the outlook isn't good. Greinke definitely didn't have the gas to even get into the 5th inning. The main positives was that at least the bullpen didn't give up more runs like last night. And more importantly, a good can of quality 🍺 is only $9.50...very affordable!!! 🀣🀣🀣 Let's try to get the win tomorrow against "Big Sexy" Bartolo Colon on the mound...Go Dbacks!!! Frankie MerrickTo be fair, I bet none of you thought we'd even be where we are now after last year. We can still make a run to hold on, we just have to keep the support and try to stay positive. We're still a young team that is learning how to win. They need our support more now than ever. Look at how long it took Kansas City's core to gel. It takes time. Trust the process, as tough as that me be right now.

Alda Ward SmithA slump is a slump but this is no longer one. It is my firm belief that something quite serious and demoralizing has occurred. The body language, the camaraderie, dugout interactions and reactions to plays all tell a story that seems less pleasant than a slump. To top it all off, at the end of today's game the post-game show was avoided by all on the team, including Lovullo. There was no news conference, interviews, nothing...Just a time filler, that really speaks volumes!!! I may be just a fan but I wasn't born last night.

Burke BaldorfLooking at this season as a whole, it is better than most fans would expect. Still, as a whole, Lovullo has made too many managerial mistakes, too many instances of the bull pen not ready, too many times the lefty wasn't ready. Third base coaching has been another issue. I am almost missing Matt Williams. One final observation - from a buddy - they have been in a tail spin since swapping Lamb and Goldy. Goldy is a three spot hitter with very high OPS. Lamb is an RBI guy.
