Charlie AvalloneHope DD and the so called "brain trust" at the warehouse are watching the playoffs so they can see that starting pitching is what wins. The O's think it's a HR derby, if we outhomer you we win. News flast; everyone's hitting HRs now so you're not going to outscore teams. Their rotation has been dreadful the last few years and there's nothing on the horizon to expect a sudden turn around. Time is here to sell off Manny to the highest bidder instead of watching him walk away after next season for nothing. The time to begin the rebuild is here and you have to use the chips you have to begin the process.

Charlie AvalloneHilarious to see lackey Steve try to explain how Whiff can get better. As he mentions in his piece three of the last four years Davis has hit .221 or less. He is what we thought he is: an overrated, vastly overpaid one dimensional player that the O's were crazy to sign to a long-term deal. Many of us said that before the contract was offered so this is not second guessing; the longer into the contract we get the dumber the move looks on DDs and Angelos' part.

Will AdamsI hope the management looks at the playoffs, and watch what great pitching, and great base hitting get you more wins than relying on homeruns hitters.

Harry BagrierCould it be that all the fans know Orioles need pitching but the G.M. Does not? Do not blame Angelos the Orioles shell out a lot for their home run hitters. Buck yes Buck and Duquette allowed the Orioles to evolve into the best home run derby team but a mediocre A.L. Team. Buck never tries to altar the free swingers approach to hitting.

They should do everything they can to buy out Schoop's arbitration years at a premium and try to keep him into at least the first few years of his FA years. Instead they'll go year by year and watch him leave via FA, i.e., their MO for how they handled Manny.

Brian HurlockUntil this ownership decides to actually play ball in today’s baseball economics they will never compete in a World Series. They don’t want to pay up why should I. Davis contract is ridiculous for a .230 hitter with a nice glove. Only vets they should have worried about was Machado, Schoop, and Jones. Bring in the young guys to see if they got it and trash the rest. No legitimate pitching ace so pony up or expect the same old same old.

Stephen BowenI just came back from a road trip that included my hometown Baltimore. Took a stroll around Patterson Park. When standing on a street corner an suv came around the corner and they threw and hit me in the head with a spray paint can. 🤕
