Paul VilserI hope the Cubs can play the Astros' in the '18 World Series. They have both Rondon and Joe Smith in their bullpen and both of them give up a home run in just about every appearance.

Rick SalzingerI will miss the old Rondon. He was a clever closer. I'll always remember his hysterical 1st MLB at bat. The Chapman addition really rocked his game and he never recovered. I hope he finds himself again. Going from one Champion team to another has got to be boosting to his self worth

Greg ParisHere's the deal with relievers. You get a guy... maybe an inning. If you got a 3.00 era, you're going to give up a run a third of your trips. And you'll get bashed on social media. People expect relievers to never give up a run, and that's unrealistic.

Tim SeilerGood Riddens! He had maybe 2 decent seasons, the rest he was a HUGE liability! I say he sucked but even the worst clogged up vacuum sucked better them him, GOOD LUCK, now he will ruin The Stros chance a a repeat! Better for the Cubs chances, if he pitches in a playoff game for the Stros it will be like watching a Darvish choking, Houston better know they're Heimlich maneuver!

Anthony AndersonI hope he does well with the Astros. I always thought he was better than what some Cubs fans gave him credit for. Even the World Series season when we got Chapman, I thought Rondon was still good enough to be our closer. He was inconsistent this past season, walking a lot of guys and giving up some HRs though.

Mark LyonIf you want to visit ballparks in the National League Central just get in your car and drive. You don’t even have to have tickets in hand before you leave, especially Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. And everything is cheaper than Chicago. Stop at a hotel 15 miles outside of any city will save you money also.

So when i talked to the guy at the sports desk, he told me that, yes, the cubs had traded Jackson and Buhl to the Phillies and gotten back (and he was really happy about this) John Hernstein and Adolfo Phillips. And then he added, with a noticable smirk in his voice, .... and a pitcher by the name of (get this) Ferguson.... Arthur.... Jenkins. I wonder if that guy ever bothered to eat his words. happy birthday - to one of the greats.

Wally WoelberIn my opinion he is a true pitcher, not just a hard thrower. Reminds me of Greg Maddox type pitching.

Mel LarchJust now seeing this--happy belated to the Professor! We share a birthday, too. I was lucky enough to spend part of mine hanging out at The Park at Wrigley, checking out the Christkindlmarket, the Cubs Store, & the neighborhood around Wrigley in general.

Tammy Kaleta GordonI love his demeanor on the field! He's so consistent, but unfortunately he's not a flashy 100 mph pitcher so he doesn't get the accolades he deserves! So glad he's a Cub!! Happy birthday professor!!

Robert GrafelmanOnly time I remember him getting emotional on the mound was when Madden yanked him early in the series, after that questionable walk. Everyone says he reminds them off Maddux, true, but he reminds me more of a right handed Jaime Moyer

Jaim SerranoKyle. You will probaly not read my comment, but none the less, I enjoyed watching pith win or lose. I have loved the Cubbies since the first time I Knew they existed. To see you guys win it all in 2016, was one of the highlights of my life. I never stopped believing. I love every single player on the roster, but you are at the top of my list not so much because of your talent, which is better than expected, but because of your humility. When you pitch,I bring my boy into my room, and we talk about you. God bless you. I hope you have the greatest Birthday surrounded by those who love you. Thank you. I was not disappointed at all. I love the Cubs, and you are an example I like to bting out when my boy and I watch the CUBBIES.

Robert J WilkeningLoved going to Wrigley when I was kid in the 50,s. I think tickets were $0.75c and I lived close enough I could walk there. Or I could take the bus or Clark street trolley before they took that out. Cubs only had about 8,000 people come for a weekday game. I had to sneak in my own snacks. Prices were too high for me.

William Ater Jr.Take me out to the ball game...lol. Man, I never got to see my Cubs play at Wrigley Field growing up which is a real shame considering Illinois is my home state (I'm in Oklahoma now). Used to watch a lot of their televised games on WGN, during the Sandberg, Dawson, & Grace years.

Mary Lieske KueppersI’ve always bought game packs in the past but not doing it this year. Cost for 2 “cheap seats” is about $385. Not bad! However it’s another $300 for all added fees!!! Seriously?! That’s ridiculous!! Good thing I work there! 😊
