Adam WileyIt's sad reading Rockies fans comments on social media. The general consensus is "Yay we have a good shot at being a Wild Card". How sad. We are so accustomed to losing that we get excited just to play meaningful baseball 3 months into the season. Fans will buy tickets, and the owners won't make any meaningful pickups at the trade deadline to become a serious contender. Basically the Rockies owners (Monforts) will make more money off the fans, and the Rockies won't have a shot in the playoffs. But that is what The Monforts want. They don't care about winning. If they did, they would have invested in the team. The Monforts are content with mediocrity and expect our fan base and our team to be content with it. They would rather build rooftops and sell tickets instead of building a true contender. That way they pay less in salaries, still sell tickets, and make more in profits. We have never once won our division. Never. But let's throw a party yall! We have a shot at playing 1 playoff series this year! Wooohoooo!!!! Rocktober! I feel bad bad for Arenado, Blackmon, CarGo, and all our stars. As long as the Monforts own the team, they won't have a legitimate shot at a World Series.

Jake GeistThis is the way I see this team right now: sure, we're still in 3rd place. Sure, we're 15 games above .500. Sure, we have an above .500 road record right now. But this losing slump we're in needs to stop. If it doesn't, we'll go down in franchise history for destroying the team's current best ever record, and make franchise history that way. We need to win the series with the Giants. Then we go head to head against the Dbacks. And then the Reds, and the White Sox, the Mets, and the Padres... But let's break this losing streak and start a winning streak.

Troy BarburI didn't watch tonight's game but listened to most of it as I was at work. Really believed this was a good game to bounce back as we just swept the Giants recently at home. Many are blaming this six game losing streak on the pitching but I tend to look at the strength of the Rockies: Awesome batting. How many runs have we scored in the last six games? I don't have the stats right now but can tell you not enough to win ball games. It appears our NL rivals have figured out our starting pitching and now hitting them like crazy. This is where our Manager Bud Black needs to step up by either making some roster changes or tweaks and/or giving rah rah speeches. Keep the faith, we are in a slump, time to turn this sinking ship around. Go Rockies!

Connor PriceThe biggest difference between the rockies and every other good batting team right now.. Other teams start scoring when they have nobody out. The rockies have made a horrible habit of beginning to score with 2 outs and then only getting a run or two before the other team ends the inning. Happened twice tonight and probably screwed our chances, even with all the hits. I wanted to throw my remote at the TV when we loaded the bases in the 7th.

They moved young talent who won't be ready to compete in the majors for a couple years to get a guy who is ready right now and I'd bet he still has options so we can move him back and forth. The front office has been solid, if they wanted this guy I'm willing to bet he's worth it. And the Cubs know they aren't making a WS run this year so it makes all the sense in the world for them to shelve the talent for a couple years.

Anthony EberspacherEveryone freaking out seems to forget the Rockies still have a 7.5 game lead in the Wild Card race. Unfortunately, the Dodgers and Dbacks are having a great year as well. Who in the world thought the Rockies would have a 7.5 game lead in the wild card in late June?

Nathan SchadeOnly the Rockies could get embarrassed by the worst team in baseball on national TV. Even though they'd be in first in any other division (2nd in the AL West), and even though they're still 6.5 up on the Wild Card, after 6 straight losses, I can't help but be concerned about the recent pitching trend; it's been absolutely horrendous... Come on! Get it together! #GoRockies

Thomas LarkinGet back to basic baseball. Bases loaded, BUNT one run across. That way you get at least ONE run instead of watching one guy strike out and the next hits into a double play and you get nothing. If you cant see the pop up D.J. , yell for help. No wild pitches. Play PRO ball guys. You are too good a team to have errors like this. Good team. Good fans. Lets get back to Rockie Ball!😀

Marshall HllnThe Swoon showed up late this year. Nonetheless, it showed up. That winning stuff was kinda nice for a change. Now that the Rockies are settling into their regular season form, 68 losses to 100?

Scott FosterA new dy and a new series fine.. but the Giants are doing terrible- the Diamondbacks and Dodgers were not.. we may be doing better than we were in recent memory but still, if you can't find a way to hold a lead, or be productive in tough games... none of this will go anywhere. The instability and ineffective pitching has been horrible ... Still it's not too late to turn things around- go get em Rockies!

Kel IveLet's go. We've seen you guys smash on the dbacks and dongers before! We know how good of a team this is so we need to buckle down and win some more games before the all star break so we can give our pitchers a rest. It looks like they need it.

Jim MagriniIf you can only beat bad teams and not the good ones then you are not a good team! Chatwood, Anderson, Otovino all need to go down to ABQ. Make a trade for an Ace and things will change for the better.

Amber OrdazThe COLORADO ROCKIES and the Giants BOTH have a 5 day losing streak! It is going to be a new series that the COLORADO ROCKIES are going to start with them. The COLORADO ROCKIES need to get back on track also. Yesterday the COLORADO ROCKIES could have won but they didn't. The team was in 1st PLACE two times this year since the COLORADO ROCKIES has been in1st PLACE and then the Dodgers went to 1st and the team were in 2nd Place for a little bit and then went straight back to 1st PLACE and they need to decide if they want to be in 1st PLACE again for the third time or if the team is done since the team is currently in 3rd Place!.
