EA RochfordIf Sandy Alderson was the Dodgers GM than Bellinger would still be in the minors. BLOW.....IT......UP. You could trade ALL THESE old expensive declining vets......clear 60 plus million.....and be better and cheaper on the field next year. That would require a series of moves by Alderson....A MOVE by Alderson would be a feat in itself.

Brent Lennardwell, flores on the correct side of the infield for a change...i guess that's...something? i know cabrera has experience at 2B, so there's precedent....but when you look and see that neither TJ or Flores can throw the ball across the infield with any consistency, i think i'd be tempted to at least TRY asdrubal at 3B. for all his range issues, throwing the ball hasn't been as big an issue as the unmitigated disaster platoon at 3B thus far. (i mean, front office already doesn't care about hurting his feelings or any sort of future with him on the club, so really..what could it hurt?)

Bill HareFormer MLB Pitcher Ron Darling makes an excellent point concerning the mass injury prone roster problem in this decade with the New York teams. Today's millennial generation players in New York along with their training staff are into building up bulking up with weights too much have no clue how to keep themselves in shape for a full season with proper conditioning, flexibility and strengthening. The owners it is much more about the $$$$$ and seats filled than the top competitive Championship team product. Darling might get fired in New York for stating the truth.

Anthony ColaciccoGsellman only 23 years old and injures his hamstring running? What's up with that! Lame! Pay him less money!! I'm 43 and I can run to first base without pulling any hamstrings!! What a joke!

Patrick RileyConsidering what we have all around it is not a bad lineup. Conforto was hit on the wrist which means in two or three days he will probably be on the DL. I did find the Mets spin site comment on Montero - showing his potential. Funny article along with Tebow being promoted. The Mets organization think we are all dumb yokels.

Bill HareNew York City area sport teams use to have the best strength and conditioning staff of any city up until about the 1990s but the last 15 years they seem to have the worst. You look at the most successful winning sport teams winning Championships in the NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL. Most of them are able repeat winning Championships because their roster remains the healthiest, durable and strongest.
