Greg BurrCritical to Yankees this year to get under the salary cap to reset the tax. This will save the Yankees 10’s of millions of dollars in salary tax penalties. They need to try to get rid of Jacoby Ellsbury if that’s even possible........How bout we send him to the Mets and pay half of Jacoby’s remaining salary.....Jacoby has full no-trade clause......if we can not get rid of Ellsbury, sadly, Brett Gardner may have to be moved.

Timothy John GillespieStill a question mark. Severino couldn’t deliver when It counted. Struggled in playoffs..Very good season but didn’t do that great against good teams.. I think we need to see 2 good seasons in a row before we crown him a top flight pitcher Tanaka struggled regular season got shelled 2nd half of the year - arm may be tiring. Good playoffs though. Gray - had a very good regular season - as good as Severino- got no run support not his fault but then Yankees didn’t use him enough in playoffs- bad call CC - hopefully sails into the sunset Montgomery- very good season - most reliable Yankee starter - was forgotten about post season - bad call Chance Adams? Rookie... Need to sign Arrietta or trade for a top notch pitcher.

Jeriel Jsmoove AponteI don't get this desperate need for starting pitching by fans. What we need is a couple of 4-5 starers, they should be easy to get. Fans act like our rotation was trash last year. While Tanaka wasn't great, he was great in the playoffs. Sev-Gray-Tanaka is a good top 3.

Ray LambrightListen up fellow Yankee fans. If you start the year with Sevy, Tanaka and Gray you are going to be ok. Add Montgomery and either Adams or Sheffield and things are really going to be ok. Yakov GorodnitskyThose who complain about his defense, consider his arm, he controls the running game. He calls a good game. He is good at framing pitches. We all know what he needs to work on, and he'll improve, but he already rates as + defender based on other aspects, and he is the best hitting catcher in the game. He is already better defensively at his position than Jeter ever was, and no one was clamoring for Jeter to DH. Jeter was also never the best hitting shortstop.

Timothy John GillespieI understand Stanton fell in the Yankees lap but I would’ve held the cash and waited for Harper.. IF - signing stanton stops you from getting an ace starter in the next few years - or 3B like Moustakas The Yankees needs are starting pitching and left handed power ( Moustakas - this year or Harper -future ) Hopefully this contract doesn’t come back to haunt the Yankees like past inflated contracts.... Other than that, of course I’m happy Stanton is a yankee. He’s insurance if Judge has a down year.. his second half indicates that may happen. Power is good, but I’m getting concerned we have a lot of low batting average guys now... hope more moves are coming...

Angel Jesus RiveraWhen I heard that Giancarlo Stanton was traded to the Yankees I could not have been more happy. He had a career year last season with his 59 HRs and 132 RBI. He can protect and help Judge develop his game further and the trade makes our lineup deeper from top to bottom. The Yankees are going to be fun to watch next season. Finally Giancarlo is on a winning team and able to show the world what he can do.

Tracy HallTry to Buy another championship that you probably won’t win!! Losers!! Yankees should try to draft and develop their own players instead of ruining baseball by overpaying mediocre players! Baseball can’t and won’t survive like that every other sport has a cap and every other sport is far more interesting because you can’t buy a team and EVERY team is competitive which equals filled stadiums and interesting games and division races the way baseball is ran it’s 4-5 teams that pay the most every year it’s the same 4-5 teams plus one surprise and then the 4-5 teams pick that team apart until they are in last place again! And I have no clue how a Yankees fan can get any satisfaction out of buying a championship?? Isn’t that I don’t know boring? Isn’t more fun watching guys get drafted developed through the minors brought up to mlb! Isn’t that more fun and entertaining?? Baseball is a dying, boring and Rigged sport with a whole bunch of cheaters! The players chest, the owners cheat, and it’s just plain U.N. competitive
