Looks like a battle between Wong and Gyorko for starting 2nd base if you ask me. Gyorko is beating Wong at the bat this spring and Gyrko has better fielding percentage at 2nd base during his career than Wong....should be interesting. Only thing going for Wong is that Gyorko is a better utility player as he has played all infield positions in the MLB and Wong has never played an infield position other than 2nd.14 hours ago · 3
J. Martinez has a way to go before I feel comfortable with him at first base. Yes its nice to get his bat in the lineup but at the expense of our pitchers that have to take the repercussions of a sub average 1st baseman. Extended pitch counts, less innings pitched, more pitchers used and low moral. But this has been the Cardinal way with Matheny which explains the error prone infield and probably can say the reason Cardinals came up short from making playoff appearances. Now with that being said its nice seeing Carpenter back at third, Dejong a nice fit as SS giving Gyorko a chance back at 2nd base which his natural middle infield spot. I say if you wanted a 1st baseman than you should have went after Eric Hosmer maybe? Hopefully Oquendo can straighten this out.15 hours ago · 2

I say no to Ray. He was never an all-time great. Any HOF, wether league wide or strictly franchise, should be reserved for he best of the best. Letting good players in, or letting in players just because of popularity, lessens the meaning and the honor of being inducted.13 hours ago · 1

Nope Nope Nope. Don't like special event gear. Not unless its a throwback game. Pink or blue accents like armbands and bats are fine. But hats? No. Maybe try something more tasteful like a ribbon on the side panel. Every time MLB uses the flag on the uniform, unless its a flag patch on the arm or hat, its grossly tacky. This, as always, is a shameless money grab by MLB. The St. Louis Cardinals, a team I love, should be ashamed of this.1 day ago

Today’s #STLCards Fan of the Day is Wade.
Wade went to his first game on April 19, 2017, when he was only 9 months old. Wade’s great-grandpa has been to 51 straight season openers! This family loves Cardinals baseball. They even had a Cards themed baby shower. Originally from Kincaid, IL, Wade and his family now live in Seattle, WA because his dad is in the Navy. Thanks for being such dedicated fans!
